The Boston Celtics finally get some much-needed good news ahead of their season opener. They were able to beat the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night, despite being without Kyrie Irving due to injury. Read more in detail here: did the boston celtics win last night.

The Boston Celtics are eager to show off their new look when they take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. The Celtics will debut their new coach and a deeper bench, but Al Horford, an old buddy, will be unavailable when they visit Madison Square Garden. They did, however, get some welcome good news before of the season’s first game.

Ime Udoka, the Celtics’ new head coach, is the catalyst behind the team’s new appearance. Udoka joined the team after spending last season as an assistant coach with the Brooklyn Nets. He will succeed Brad Stevens, who will succeed Danny Ainge. After a disappointing 36-36 season last year, Ainge stepped down as head of basketball operations. In the first round of the playoffs, the Nets eliminated the Celtics.

Stevens took over for Ainge and brought in Udoka to take his position. Following that, he made some major personnel changes.

Stevens traded Horford, who had spent three years with the Celtics, for unhappy point player Kemba Walker. Walker was eventually traded to the Knicks.

With the acquisitions of Josh Richardson, Dennis Schroder, and Juancho Hernangomez, he bolstered the bench. He also re-signed Enes Kanter, who will serve as a backup to Robert Williams, who signed a four-year contract deal in August.

Stevens has been busy with his new job, which he will put on show against the Knicks on Wednesday.

The Celtics in Boston have finally received some positive news.

Jaylen Brown will play in tonight’s season-opener at MSG, according to the latest #NEBHInjuryReport.

Jaylen appears “impressively fine” from a physical perspective, according to Coach Udoka, despite the fact that he’s only been out of isolation for a brief period.

COVID-19 has lately wreaked havoc on the Celtics. As training camp began, Udoka tested positive for the virus. Jaylen Brown and Al Horford have both been infected with COVID-19 since then. Last season, the coronavirus struck Jayson Tatum severely, and he required an inhaler to complete the season.

Horford is still on the bench. In the season’s first game, Grant Williams will start. Horford is “feeling well, but no other significant update,” according to NBA writer Keith Smith.

Smith also claimed that when Horford returns, Udoka indicated that Horford will be the starter, stating, “It’s Grant tonight.” Due to matches, we’ll mix and match a little bit while Al is away.”

Brown, on the other hand, is likely to return, which is excellent news for Boston. Despite just being out of quarantine for a brief time, Udoka claimed Brown looked “impressively well,” according to the Celtics.

“Considering everything, I’m in a decent mood.” To be honest, I’m ecstatic. According to a Smith Twitter post, Brown responded, “I’m thrilled.”

Jaylen Brown will be playing in his first regular-season game since May.

It will be Brown’s first regular-season game in five months when he goes up against the Knicks on Wednesday night. The Celtics announced in early May that Brown will miss the remainder of the season due to a ruptured ligament in his left wrist.

Last year, Brown became the first player in his career to be named an NBA All-Star, joining Tatum. He set career highs in both points and rebounds (24.7). (6.0).

Brown’s wrist injury was difficult to pinpoint when it occurred, but it obviously hindered him on numerous occasions in the second part of the season. In May, the team decided to shut him down and do surgery on him.

Brown’s return from his wrist injury and now from COVID-19 is welcome news for Celtics supporters.
