The Philadelphia Eagles dropped to 1-7 with a crushing Week 8 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has had enough of Carson Wentz for his “idiotic mistakes” that cost the team games.

The “colts qb 2021” is a question that has been around since the Colts’ loss on Sunday. Stephen A. Smith was not happy with Carson Wentz and his constant “idiotic” mistakes, so he decided to call it quits.

Before Week 8, things were really looking well for Carson Wentz and the Indianapolis Colts. They’d won back-to-back games against the Houston Texans and San Francisco 49ers, and Wentz was playing some of his finest football since returning from injury in 2017.

It was all coming together for a huge Week 8 matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans. The Titans had already defeated the Colts this season, so Indianapolis wanted to make amends. The game was also being broadcast in Indianapolis, adding to the pressure on Wentz and his teammates to win.

The Colts were on the verge of winning. They were unable to seal the victory, though, due to some mind-boggling performances from Wentz at quarterback.

The Colts are still suffering as a result of Carson Wentz’s mental errors.

The Colts blitzed Tennessee right out of the start. Wentz and Michael Pitmman Jr. connected for two early touchdowns, and Indy was able to maintain its advantage at halftime.

By the time the final seconds rolled around, Wentz and the Colts had a chance to go away with the victory – at home, against a division opponent. It was the ideal environment for a company wanting to gain traction.

Unfortunately for Indianapolis, no walk-off victory was achieved. With only seconds remaining in the game, Wentz threw a pick-six while sliding back into his own end zone, giving the Titans a seven-point advantage. The Colts soon answered with a touchdown of their own, forcing OT. They, on the other hand, squandered the opportunity to win it in normal time.

A similar effect happened throughout time. Wentz launched a head-scratching pass into triple coverage after the Colts and Titans swapped scoreless drives. Tennesse was set up for the game-winning field goal after the throw was intercepted and returned deep into Colts territory.

Wentz got away with his first interception, but he didn’t have the same success with his second.

Carson Wentz gets chastised by Stephen A. Smith for his “idiotic” play.

On First Take after the Colts’ sad defeat, ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith wasn’t shy in his criticism.

“I’m done with Carson Wentz,” Smith remarked, irritated.

He also said that he does not believe Wentz is a fool, but that he is prone to making the occasional stupid play. Smith believes Wentz has had too many occasions in his career when he has had to come into the locker room after a defeat and take the brunt of the responsibility.

It was harsh criticism for a player who has mostly excelled this season. Smith, on the other hand, makes some reasonable comments. If Wentz had taken his check downs late in the game instead of attempting to be the hero, the Colts would have defeated the Titans.

Will the Colts be able to bounce back in the future?

The Colts aren’t completely out of the playoff picture, despite their 3-5 record. The Titans’ next two games are against the New York Jets and the Jacksonville Jaguars, and star running back Derrick Henry is projected to miss the rest of the season.

The Wentz conundrum, on the other hand, must be resolved. When he’s in charge, he’s a great quarterback. The problem is getting him to play in a controlled manner.

Wentz is the one who bears the most of the blame. He has to do a better job of remaining cool at the game’s crucial moments. Frank Reich, the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, is also involved in this. In the fourth quarter, he has to do a better job of simplifying the playbook. He’s been guilty of abandoning the run late in favor of Wentz airing it out far too many times.

In any case, Wentz can add Stephen A. Smith to the lengthy list of skeptics he’ll have to disprove in the future.

The “colts draft picks 2021” is a topic that has been in the news. Stephen A. Smith, who is an NFL analyst and former NFL player, was very vocal about his thoughts on Carson Wentz’s recent performance.
