In Salt and Sacrifice, there is no way to entirely respec your character at once. Gray Starstone, a restricted consumable, is required instead. When you level up a few times, you obtain Gray Starstone.
It drops from numerous mini-boss foes in the globe, much as Black Starstone, the leveling material. Specific mini-bosses only seem to drop Gray or Black, not both, and some do not respawn after defeated.
Head to the level-up statue in Pardoner’s Vale and choose the node on the Tree of Skill you wish to repay with Gray Starstone. To complete the refund, hold down the button for a Black Starstone and the ability to activate any node linked to the closest active nodes.
Gray Starstone rewards every few levels, so by level 30, you’ll have between six and eight, allowing you to experiment with your build. Gray Starstone can’t be reclaimed after it’s been spent, so if you’re unhappy with your new construction options, you’re out of luck.
On your first playtime, we don’t advocate utilizing too much Gray Starstone. Early in a character’s existence, the material is best employed to optimize a construct or retrace steps.
You risk wrecking your whole setup if you attempt to entirely rebuild a high-level character, particularly if you don’t sure what you want to accomplish with them. This is particularly true if you don’t have the necessary upgrade or crafting resources to utilize your new route.
If you wish to respec your first character, use Gray Starstone sparingly and just to change your orientation on the Tree of Skill. If you wish to go through the game again, take some time at the conclusion to consider what your next character will look like.
When you have a plan for a build, you may respec more easily. Your initial character will almost certainly be a jumble of abilities and gear, which is exactly as it should be.
That’s about everything you need to know about How to Sacrifice and Respec in Salt. Use the ability sparingly, as once you select a starting character, your early-game experience is decided.
