Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins suggested that Russell Westbrook should sit out the rest of the season after a recent report revealed he was being sued by an ex-employee.

The “russell westbrook news” is a story about Russell Westbrook suggesting that Kendrick Perkins needs to sit out the rest of the season.

Russell Westbrook’s return to the Los Angeles Lakers has been less than pleasant. Due to his continued troubles, the star point guard has decided to finally face the criticism that has been affecting his family.

Westbrook’s comments provide an olive branch to the mental toll the situation has had off the court. All of this has prompted Kendrick Perkins to suggest that his former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate sit out the remainder of the season.

With the criticism, Russell Westbrook reaches a breaking point.

Westbrook has often defended himself against criticism during his first season in Los Angeles.

However, the degrading of his last name to “Westbrick” got under his skin on Monday night, and the conversation reached a breaking point for him. Westbrook said that his wife Nina’s social media remarks on the style altered his mind, particularly after their kid had expressed pride in their last name.

“I completely support my wife and how she’s feeling,” Westbrook told ESPN. “I don’t mind being chastised for missing and making shots in basketball. However, when it comes to my name being disgraced, it becomes a problem.

Because everything is beginning to badly effect his family, the great point guard showed another part of himself by displaying his vulnerability. As a result of the circumstances, his parents and wife no longer feel safe attending home games.

Many have spoken out on the subject, prompting his former colleagues to take a firm stand.

Russell Westbrook might sit out the remainder of the season, according to Kendrick Perkins.

Westbrook’s recent statement about the pressures on his family as a result of his basketball troubles shed insight on how his off-the-court issues are affecting him.

The reaction has ranged from outright support owing to the situation’s overwhelming toxicity to others who believe that outside noise is unavoidable. This is particularly true given his poor performance.

Kendrick Perkins walked the tight line between both opinions during an interview on ESPN’s NBA Today on Tuesday, adding that he feels it would be best for the nine-time All-Star to sit out the remainder of the season.

“I stated it about a month ago,” Perkins added, “Westbrook is broken.” “I’m not referring about his jumper. It was obvious in his body language. Russell Westbrook is now being recognized as a human being… On the one hand, you pity him because you never want to see his family assaulted, but on the other hand, you have to play a part in keeping your own family in control.

“I’m almost thinking it’s better if Russ doesn’t play for the remainder of the season because he’s not there.” When you hear a guy like Magic Johnson critique you like he did the other night, saying if this doesn’t happen, this will be the worst, and Russell Westbrook hasn’t done anything about it, it’s a wake-up call. That aches in a different way.”

Westbrook isn’t going to quit playing for the remainder of the season, but it’s clear that his time in Los Angeles will come to an end this summer. He’s done his hardest to make it work, but his playing style and other things haven’t come together.

The criticism has reached a breaking point for the 33-year-old, driving him to seek a new NBA home overseas. He’ll try to work through the difficulties, but whatever happens, he’ll live with the outcome.

The Lakers will take advantage of their precarious condition.

The Lakers are well aware that their road ahead is grim, since they are guaranteed to enter the play-in round.

Aside from the club re-examining him in two weeks, Anthony Davis still hasn’t been given a comeback date. The onus is on Westbrook and LeBron James to lead the club ahead toward a playoff berth. The last stretch of the regular season provides a time for the star point guard to drown out the outside noise while assisting his team in achieving their ultimate objective.

Massive summer changes are looming, but the Lakers are making the most of their precarious position.
