Beckham, a Louisiana native, was a member of the LSU football team from 2011 to 2013. The wide receiver caught 143 passes for 2,340 yards and 12 touchdowns in three seasons with Baton Rouge. These results are even more astounding when you consider that he was part of a bad signal-calling crew. Jarrett Lee, Jordan Jefferson, Zach Mettenberger, and Anthony Jennings are among the members of this group.
OBJ has never had a passer quite like Burrow. The Ohio native began his undergraduate career at Ohio State before transferring to LSU to play for Ed Orgeron after losing his starting role to Dwayne Haskins.
Burrow caught the college football world by storm in 2019 after a strong junior season. He threw just six interceptions while completing 76.3 percent of his 527 career attempts for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns.

Burrow’s friendship with Beckham was first made public at that time.
Beckham was on the field celebrating with his old squad after LSU’s title game victory against Clemson. The NFL receiver seemed to be giving out money to teammates during the celebration, which seems to be a blatant NCAA violation. LSU, on the other hand, promptly claimed the money was counterfeit.
Burrow denied that allegation after declaring for the NFL draft, telling Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take that Beckham did, in fact, pay him actual money for the victory.

While nothing is feasible, particularly if Burrow recruits an old LSU friend, Beckham is unlikely to come to Cincinnati for two reasons. The city itself is one of them. Beckham is unlikely to return to Ohio after spending more than two seasons there. Teams from California, Texas, or Florida have a better chance.
In addition, if the Bengals do sign a free-agent pass-catcher, it won’t be a wide receiver like Beckham. Those positions are occupied by Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Beckham and Burrow’s paths may cross again in the future, but not in 2022.
