The Milwaukee Bucks are the NBA’s best team, but they still have to go out and prove it. Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the league’s most exciting players, and he has a lot of help on the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks Just Need to Visit Their Local Sportsbook for Some Extra Motivation to Repeat as NBA Champions.

The Golden State Warriors were the last club to win back-to-back NBA championships in 2017 and 2018, and Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks have a chance to do it again this season.

One would assume that after their playoff success in 2021, Milwaukee would be the betting favorite to repeat as NBA champions in 2022. But all the Bucks have to do now is go to their local bookmaker and look at the ridiculous championship odds to get some additional incentive for the season.

Milwaukee did not begin the 2021 NBA playoffs as a favorite to win the Eastern Conference, much alone win the championship. The Bucks were seeded third in the East, sandwiched between the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers on the odds board.

When Kyrie Irving suffered an ankle injury in the first round and James Harden exited Game 1 of the Bucks series with a strained hamstring, the odds changed drastically. Milwaukee went on to win the Eastern Conference Finals in seven games against the powerful Nets, and the rest is history.

The Bucks’ Big Three of Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday will all be back this season. This summer, the Bucks lost P.J. Tucker and Bryn Forbes, but they were able to replace them with Grayson Allen, George Hill, Rodney Hood, and Semi Ojeleye. They also re-signed Bobby Portis on a team-friendly, low-cost contract.

Because there isn’t much of a difference between this year’s group and last year’s, back-to-back titles are within reach.

Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have plenty of incentive to win the NBA title again in 2022. Isn’t it true that every player in the league strives to win a championship every year?

If the Bucks need any more incentive to win back-to-back, they can just walk to the nearest sportsbook and look at the NBA futures board for 2022. They’d notice that Milwaukee isn’t the favorite to win the NBA championship this season. It isn’t even the favorite to win the Eastern Conference.

The Nets (+220) and the Los Angeles Lakers (+380) have better chances than the Bucks (+900) to win it all in 2022. The lack of regard.

Take a look at the whole list of odds below:

  • +220 Brooklyn Nets
  • +380 (Los Angeles Lakers)
  • +900 for the Milwaukee Bucks
  • +1000 for the Golden State Warriors
  • +1600 for the Phoenix Suns

  • +50000 Detroit Pistons
  • +50000 for the Orlando Magic
  • +50000 Oklahoma City Thunder

Do the Lakers and Nets have a claim to the top betting odds?

It may seem strange to see the defending NBA champions having the third-best odds to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy this season, but are the odds justified?

The Nets are finally healthy, and they boast the NBA’s most dangerous Big Three. This summer, they also acquired seasoned players Patty Mills and Paul Millsap to the lineup. Oh, and LaMarcus Aldridge has returned to Brooklyn after a short hiatus.

If you didn’t pay attention to any offseason changes this summer, you wouldn’t be able to identify the Lakers’ roster. Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, DeAndre Jordan, Rajon Rondo, Trevor Ariza, Dwight Howard, Wayne Ellington, and others have teamed up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis in preparation for the next season. That’s a frightening bunch.

However, the Bucks remain the NBA champions till further notice, and they will be the team to beat in 2022.

As of 9/14, DraftKings provided all betting odds.
