Elden Ring is a competitive, fast-paced game where players can choose from multiple characters and abilities to battle in a futuristic setting. Elden Ring offers an engaging story with great graphics, which makes it stand out as one of the best games on PC. However, there’s no information for what happens after you finish the main quest line or how to find Ranni again (a character who has a special relationship with your protagonist).
The “elden ring sellen” is a questline that can be found in the Elden Ring game. This questline will help you find Ranni, who is one of the main characters in this game.
Ranni’s questline leads to one of Elden Ring’s numerous secret endings, as well as some of the game’s strongest weapons and armor. It’s also terribly sad, but that’s to be expected with every tale on this site.
We’ll go through every stage of Ranni’s quest in our Elden Ring guide, including moments where you may fail it, so you can make sure you see all she has to say.
How to Finish Ranni the Witch’s Elden Ring Questline
Ranni’s quest chain is likely to have begun without your knowledge. After locating Melina and giving you the Spirit Summoning Bell, she appears briefly at the Church of Elleh, where she identifies herself as Renna. Ranni’s journey then starts in earnest at Caria Manor’s Three Sisters section.
Take care not to give Rogier the Black Knifeprint before chatting with her. In Ranni’s Rise, if he informs you about her before you talk to her, she will refuse to speak to you, and her goal will fail.
Step 1 of Ranni’s Quest: Defeat Loretta at Caria Manor’s top.
You must go to Caria Manor in far northern Liurnia of the Lakes before reaching Ranni. To get to the Kingsrealm Ruins, go north from the Minor Erdtree on the western continent. Attack or roll through the supposedly impenetrable wall to break the illusion.
Speak with Iji on the Path to the Manor Site of Grace, then proceed north to the manor, keeping an eye on the road past Iji for magical assaults.
Make your way to the Grace Manor Gate and then through the crystal-filled Manor grounds. You’ll eventually come to a stairway that leads inside the Manor. Continue up the steps until you reach the Manor Lower Level Site of Grace, then exit onto the ramparts and follow them to the finish.
If you have the INT and FAITH to wield the Sword of Night and Flame, you may head left to a tower on the left and drop down to the left to pick it up. More information about this may be found in our guide.
You’ll discover a stairway climbing up at the end of the ramparts, followed by an elevator that will take you to the Manor Upper Level Site of Grace. Follow the road to a large stairwell with a gigantic, then take another elevator to the Royal Knight Loretta’s arena.
When you defeat her, the fog gate at the back of her chamber opens, leading to the Three Sisters region.
Step 2 of Ranni’s Quest: Speak with Ranni in Ranni’s Rise
Ranni’s Rise is located southwest of Loretta’s arena. You don’t have to battle the dragon in Three Sisters to go to the top of the tower and meet Ranni, who is startled to see you.
Speak to her till she asks why you’ve come to visit her. “No special reason,” you may say. Continue to converse with her until she invites you to join her service. Accept.
Step 3 of Ranni’s Quest: Speak with Ranni’s Subordinates
Return to Ranni after speaking with Iji, Selivus, and Blaidd below. She’ll assign you the responsibility of assisting Blaidd in locating the city of Nokron and the wealth hidden beneath it.
Ranni’s Quest Step 4: Go to Siofra River and speak with Blaidd (optional)
Blaidd will instruct you to travel to the well in the Mistwood, which leads to the Siofra River, in your first hunt for Nokron. Blaidd with the map piece is immediately beyond the temple. If you keep talking to him, he’ll declare he has no clue how to travel to Nokron, but if you keep talking to him, he’ll suggest Selivus could know something.
Ranni’s Quest Step 5: Speak with Selivus, Sellen, and Blaidd (optional)
When you visit Selivus in his tower southeast of Ranni’s, he will scold you and send you to the dungeon of Waypoint Ruins in Limgrave to meet the witch Sellen. If you give her Selivus’ Letter of Introduction, she will disclose that Starscourge Radahn is now holding the stars in stasis, as well as Ranni’s destiny with them. It is thus critical to assassinate Radahn.
Return to Siofra River and tell Blaidd what you’ve learned, and he’ll tell you about a Caelid celebration.
Step 6 of Ranni’s Quest: Kill Starscourge Radahn
Travel east to Castle Redmane and Caelid’s southeastern point. Pass through the teleporter to reach a courtyard full of NPCs, including Blaidd. Speak with the announcer and inform him you’re ready, then follow him down to the battlefield in the elevator. To finish this battle, see our tutorial on how to defeat Radahn.
Step 7 of Ranni’s Quest: Travel to Limgrave’s Crater and into Nokron.
When Radahn falls, the falling star lands south of the Mistwood in Limgrave. Because of the floating pebbles hovering in the air, you can see it from kilometers away.
Descend into the abyss until you arrive at the Eternal City. Cross the roofs, across ramparts, and through a cathedral window via a shattered wall, then drop down and flee past or kill the sentient boulder.
Continue straight down the castle pathways, avoiding or killing the Mimic Tears. You’ll eventually arrive in a dark area brimming with the Things, complete with a sentient rock near the ceiling. Take the rear left entrance and go to the long causeway to collect the Site of Grace.
A tower with an open entrance stands at the end of the causeway. The Fingerslayer Blade is found inside. You’ve discovered the treasure Ranni is looking for.
Step 8 of Ranni’s Quest: Return to Ranni
Return to Ranni with the Fingerslayer Blade in hand, and she’ll tell you she’s going down the dark road. Continue speaking with her until she hands over the Carian Inverted Statue.
Step 9 of Ranni’s Quest: Invert the Study Hall
On the eastern side of Liurnia, go to Grace’s Study Hall Entrance Site, which is the building with the long bridge and tower connected. Ascend to the pedestal, hit the use button, and watch the cutscene in which the globe rotates vertically 180 degrees.
The interior of the Study Hall has now been turned. Take the left-hand stairwell to the top of the elevator shaft and leap down. Keep an eye out for the pit.
You’ll see a bunch of the small disembodied hands you previously saw in Caria Manor beyond the hole. Kill them or rush past them and around the right side of the rafters. The game’s worst adversary, who spams Loretta’s Greatbow and delivers disproportionate damage before teleporting away before you can kill them, however you’ll finally corner them on the top level.
Jump down into the chandeliers and then onto the platform with the button in the center once they’re dead. Take it down(up) to the bottom(top) of the tower and exit via the aperture that opens when the platform comes to a halt.
Step 10 of Ranni’s Quest: Cross the Divine Tower Bridge
The bridge leading to the Liurnia Diving Tower is reached by opening the entrance at the bottom(top) of the Study Hall. The road seems to be clear, but you’ll need to defeat a Godskin Noble to complete it. Beat it, then unlock the Diving Tower and climb to the top.
Step 11 of Ranni’s Quest: Claim the Death Cursemark and Return to Three Sisters
At the pinnacle of the Liurnia Divine Tower, you won’t be able to activate a Great Rune. Instead, it is guarded by the Death Cursemark and the Stargazer Heirloom Talisman. The former is required for Fia’s questline, while the latter increases Intelligence by 5. The Cursemark unlocks Renna’s Rise in the Three Sisters region for our purposes.
Return to Three Sisters; Renna’s Rise is now available. It had previously been blocked by a seal. Take the teleporter to Nokstella, Eternal City, by climbing the ladder.
Step 12 of Ranni’s Quest: Cross Noksetlla
If you want to explore the higher reaches of Nokstella, follow the riverbank away from the first Site of Grace, past the ants and Nox soldiers riding ants, to continue Ranni’s questline. You’ll come to a tiny building with open doors and an elevator. Take the elevator to the bottom of another riverbed.
The Miniature Ranni doll will be located across the street.
Step 13 of Ranni’s Quest: Talk to the Ranni Doll
Rest at the neighboring Site of Grace, and at the bottom of the menu, you’ll see a new option: chat to tiny Ranni.
Nothing will happen the first two times you pick the option. Ranni will speak out for the third time, looking irritated. Continue along the subterranean river when she’s finished talking.
Step 14 of Ranni’s Quest: Talk to Ranni Some More
Rest at each Site of Grace you come across and choose the option to Talk to Ranni. She’ll tell you about her history and some serious mythology. She’ll get to a point when she’ll tell you to disregard all you’ve heard so far. Keep going.
Step 15 of Ranni’s Quest: Defeat the Baleful Shadow
The river will ultimately lead to a pink-misted room, where the Baleful Shadow, a red invader NPC, will spawn.
He appears like Blaidd when he attacks, but he isn’t Blaidd; rather, he is an assassin hired to stop Ranni from completing her goal. Ranni will praise you before her spirit slips away if you kill it. You’ll get the Discarded Palace Key after Ranni quits talking.
Step 16 of Ranni’s Quest: Travel to the Lake of Rot
On the opposite side of the chamber, where you battled the Shadow, is an elevator. Take it all the way down to the Lake of Rot. With the exception of Shrine of Amana in Dark Souls 2, this is the worst area in Elden Ring and maybe any Souls game. Take the map and the Grace Site, then make a reservation at the Raya Lucaria Grand Library.
Step 17 of Ranni’s Quest: Open the Chest in Renalla’s Chamber
If you haven’t already, vanquish Rennala of the Full Moon. The chest in her room is generally locked, but you may access it using the Discarded Palace Key. The Dark Moon Ring is within, and you’ll need it later.
Ranni’s Quest Step 18: Cross the Lake of Rot & to the End of the Grand Cloister
The Lake of Rot is generally an optional region, although it is required for Ranni’s questline. Scarlet Rot, Elden Ring’s variant of the Toxic state, is inflicted by spending any length of time in the Lake. Your health will gradually deteriorate, and curing the condition will merely postpone its reappearance. Here’s everything you’ll need to get ready.
If you go southwest, you’ll come to a massive cathedral with a path heading down. There is a Site of Grace not far from the entrance, which is a blessing. The Grand Cloister is located here.
Continue west from Grace, down to the rot river, and over the damaged platforms. The river should be followed west, then south, until it reaches a waterfall. There will be an open casket with a sign instructing you to enter it. Make it happen.
Step 19 of Ranni’s Quest: Defeat Astel, Naturalborn of the Void
You’ll be transported to a strange cave near a golden boss fog by the coffin. It leads to one of Elden Ring’s most beautiful boss arenas, where you confront Astel, Naturalborn of the Void. This monster is a star in its own right, and it’s a tough battle at lower levels.
Step 20 of Ranni’s Quest: Take the Elevator to the Moonlight Altar
The room behind Astel’s arena opens up to reveal an elevator after Astel is out of the way. It leads to the Moonlight Altar if you take it up. This is the plateau that rises above the Alburnaurics’ Village.
Ranni’s Quest Step 21: Visit Manus Celes’ Catherdral
Go east from the first Site of Grace here. You’ll come across Glintstone Dragon Adula, who you can kill if you want to, but you don’t have to. The Site of Grace is located in the heart of the Cathedral of Manus Celes, the cathedral behind the dragon.
Step 22 of Ranni’s Quest: Enter Ranni’s Cavern and Give Her the Ring
A hole in the earth may be found to the south of the Cathedral Site of Grace. Follow the actual dark trail down to Ranni’s corpse, which is resting in a tree.
Put the Dark Moon Ring on Ranni’s finger and go up to her. Ranni will resurface in the Church of Ellah where you last saw her, advising you to follow the Lord’s way.
Finish Elden Ring, defeat the Final Boss, and summon Ranni in Step 23.
After defeating the last monster of Elden Ring, you will have the option of either repairing the Elden Ring or summoning Ranni in the final section. Summon Ranni and wait for the finish of her questline, as well as the ending you’ve earned.
That is the lengthy process of completing Ranni’s questline and discovering her hidden ending in Elden Ring. For most people, it’s a multi-dozen-hour project that requires a lot of time and work, but it’s definitely worth it. For the final sequence, you’ll need to look your best, so check out our finest armor guide. The Mimic Tear makes it easy to create a large number of bosses. More quest instructions and walkthroughs may be found in our Elden Ring guides area.
The “elden ring ranni quest” is the main objective of Elden Ring. The questline is completed by finding Ranni and completing her quest.
