The Cleveland Cavaliers could shockingly reunite with former No.1 pick Andrew Wiggins, according to Bleacher Report NBA insider Ric Bucher. The “Andrew Wiggins age” is the Cleveland Cavaliers former No. 1 pick who was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in return for Kevin Love in a shocking move that could reunite him with his former team.

Andrew Wiggins has tossed the term “bust” out the window.
Prior to this season, Wiggins has failed to live up to his first-round status after being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the No. 1 overall choice in the 2014 NBA Draft and then dealt to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Love. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2014-15, although he had yet to be named to an All-Star team and had only made it to the playoffs once.
Wiggins, on the other hand, has proved himself this season with the Golden State Warriors, helping them reach the NBA Finals for the first time in 2022. And it seems that his success has piqued the curiosity of clubs in his services.
In fact, the Cavaliers are allegedly contemplating bringing back their previous first-round choice.

This season, Andrew Wiggins has been a surprise for the Warriors. He was named to his first All-Star team after averaging 17.2 points per game and shooting a career-high 39.3 percent from three-point range. He also averaged 4.5 rebounds per game and just 1.5 turnovers per game.
Wiggins has also had a strong postseason performance. On 48.0 percent shooting, the Kansas product is averaging 15.8 points and 7.0 rebounds. He even had 27 points and 11 rebounds in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, leading Golden State to their sixth participation in the NBA Finals in eight seasons.
Wiggins’ year may not have been his most productive. In 2016-17, he averaged 23.6 points per game. However, it has been one of his most productive seasons, and he has demonstrated his value on defense, ranking in the top 20 in the NBA with 3.4 defensive win shares.
His success has reportedly piqued the Cavaliers’ interest.
“I’m keeping an eye on this one.” I believe it is less probable now than before the playoffs began, but it is a possibility that has been discussed inside Cleveland’s walls. On a recent edition of The HoopsHype Podcast, Cavaliers beat writer Chris Fedor noted, “It’s Andrew Wiggins of the Warriors.”
If you don’t recall, Wiggins was selected first overall by the Cavaliers in 2014. However, once LeBron James announced his return to Cleveland, the Cavs transferred Wiggins to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Kevin Love, who has been with the club since then and led them to a championship in 2016.
Wiggins never appeared in an NBA game for the Cavaliers, but he did begin his NBA career with the franchise, even competing in the Summer League. So, would a Cleveland reunion make sense?

Andrew Wiggins, believe it or not, would be a terrific match for the Cavs. In 2021-22, Cleveland enjoyed a resurgence season, qualifying for the NBA Play-In Tournament and ending with a winning record. It does, however, have a noticeable hole at the small forward.
At point guard, Darius Garland leads the way, while in the post, Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley shine. However, the Cavs need a two-way winger.
Collin Sexton is a one- and two-guard, while Caris LeVert seems to be more of a shooting guard than a small forward in Cleveland. As a result, Wiggins would fill that need for the Cavs and provide an instant scoring boost.
The only problem is that if the Cavaliers want Wiggins for next season, they’ll have to trade for him. And would the Warriors, Cleveland’s main adversary from 2015 to 2018, be interested in making a deal?
The Cavaliers might potentially wait until next summer to make a decision. Wiggins’ contract expires in one year, and he will be a free agency in 2023. Cleveland will almost certainly have enough cap room to sign him. However, it would not help them win this year.
Is Andrew Wiggins about to join the Cavaliers? Although it’s unlikely that the Warriors will win the title in 2022, it’s still an intriguing topic to watch.
Wiggins might lead the club that picked him eight years ago for the first time.
