The Cardinals took a major hit to their chances of remaining undefeated today when the Packers released an update that impacted Aaron Rodgers specifically. The NFL has since adjusted these odds, but what are people’s thoughts?
The “aaron rodgers’ favorite targets” is a Cardinals team that has been playing well. The latest update from the Packers has given the Cardinals a massive boost in their chances of remaining undefeated.
After seven weeks of football, there are some fascinating matchups to look forward to in Week 8. The most important is the Thursday Night Football game between the unbeaten Arizona Cardinals and the 6-1 Green Bay Packers, which might serve as a preview of the NFC Championship.
So far, Kyler Murray and Arizona have appeared unstoppable, while the Packers have won six consecutive games despite a surprise setback to the New Orleans Saints on opening day.
However, the Cardinals’ prospects of going unbeaten just got a whole lot better when Green Bay’s COVID-19 problems continued.
As the Packers cope with COVID-19 difficulties, Davante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins’ duel is in risk.

After testing positive for the virus only days before the game, the Packers announced that defensive coordinator Joe Barry will miss Thursday’s game. It didn’t end there, however.
The Packers might also be missing standout wide receiver Davante Adams, who was also added to the COVID-19 list on Monday.
For the time being, there’s still a chance Adams may suit up for the game, albeit it’s unlikely. If that is the case, Green Bay will be missing Aaron Rodgers’ favorite target and one of the top receivers in the NFL.
Matt LaFleur and the Eagles will have to adjust their game plan without Adams, and barring a miracle, they will have to make do. The highly anticipated wide receiver battle between Adams and DeAndre Hopkins will have to wait.
With Adams’ departure, the Cardinals’ odds rise.
The Cardinals have jumped out to a 7-0 start, which is the greatest in the NFL. Murray is playing at an MVP level, Hopkins is doing Hopkins things, and the running back tandem of James Conner and Chase Edmonds is doing well.
The defense, headed by rookie JJ Watt, has made significant strides, and Chandler Jones has thrived opposite Watt. Jones was activated from the COVID-19 reserve list on Monday and should be able to play in Thursday’s game.
As if the Cardinals didn’t have enough going for them already, Green Bay would be missing its defensive coordinator and best receiver, among a slew of other ailments.
However, having Aaron Rodgers as quarterback helps, and this game should be a sellout on a crazy Thursday night.
The game between the Cardinals and the Packers has huge postseason ramifications for both teams.

As the season approaches its midpoint, both the Packers and Cardinals are vying for the NFC’s top spot. The Cardinals are hanging on tight right now and don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
Currently, the victor of this game has a chance to take over first place in the NFC, despite the fact that the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are both 6-1 on the season.
Make no mistake: this COULD be a preview of the NFC Championship Game, given the way both quarterbacks are playing. With or without Adams, the reigning MVP against the MVP favorite in primetime is must-see television.
If the Packers’ best pass-catcher is unable to play, as predicted, the Cardinals’ chances of going 8-0 improve significantly, and Murray’s résumé will continue to grow in a fantastic 2021 season.
