Dying Light 2 is a sequel to the surprise hit of 2015, only this time it leans more heavily into co-op gameplay. Will you be able to run around with your friends and survive the zombie apocalypse? We tested our gaming skills for an answer.

Dying Light 2 is the sequel to the original Dying Light. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where players must survive by scavenging for supplies and staying alive. Can you sprint in dying light 2? Read more in detail here: dying light: the following.

Traversal is a key aspect in Dying Light 2, and you’ll be running around Villedor and the Central Loop to get from point A to point B for a lot of the game. But, if you can’t fast travel to the precise area you desire, can you run to make things go faster?

Yes, you can sprint in Dying Light 2 eventually, but you won’t be able to do so for a time. Aiden runs when you push the control stick or associated button all the way forward or down when the game first starts. He does, however, run… slowly. Here’s all you need to know about sprinting to increase your speed.

In Dying Light 2, here’s how you sprint.

You’ll collect Parkour experience in the form of Points as you go through Dying Light 2, whether you’re doing plot missions, side quests, or the hundreds of additional activities accessible. You’ll get a skill point to utilize on the Parkour side of the skill tree when you earn Parkour Points.

To sprint, you must first master the Dart ability (third row down on the left, furthest to the right). To unlock, you’ll need 140 stamina and 1 skill point, and you’ll be able to “get a short burst of speed” by pressing the control stick down and pressing the appropriate key on PC (it’ll inform you on the skill card). Finding and utilizing Inhibitors may help you enhance your stamina.

After obtaining the Dart talent, you may purchase Dash for 180 stamina and 1 skill point, which allows you to “sprint quicker” with the same button click, but costs more energy to utilize.

Finally, there’s an Afterboost Parkour talent that boosts your speed after you do particular Parkour feats like climbing and landing on active landings. This costs 1 skill point and takes 240 stamina to unlock.

Being able to sprint does not make traversal or movement much quicker, but it does aid when you need to launch a Chase or exit a chemical field rapidly. Other sprinting (or dashing, as Dying Light 2 refers to it) talents, such as Bash and Enemy Jump, are also noteworthy.

Depending on how you want to play Dying Light 2, it can be more beneficial to invest your Parkour skill points on other branches of the Parkour tree before upgrading your sprint ability. Later on, you’ll be able to use the paraglider and grappling hook for different traversal mechanics.

Because I was looking for all Airdrops and finishing all of the Bandit Camps, I found it most advantageous to go for talents like Fast Climb, Far Jump, and Wall Run. Investing in these sorts of Parkour skills also makes it simpler to activate all of the Windmills.

Either way, now you know In Dying Light 2, here’s how you sprint. and the skills you need to go after with your Parkour points. For more help with staying human, head over to our DL2 tips hub.
